We know that reaching out can feel daunting. Below are answers to some of the most common questions we receive from survivors, allies and concerned individuals. If your question is not answered here, feel free to contact us directly.

No. SARCIN is entirely pro bono. Survivors never pay for help, legal referrals or support.

Yes. You choose what to share, when and with whom. Many of our reports are submitted anonymously and still help connect key patterns.

Our team reviews your information, cross-checks it against other data and looks for established patterns. You will not be pressured or exposed. Everything is handled discreetly and respectfully.

We never share survivor details without clear documented consent. All partners and professionals we work with are vetted for confidentiality and trauma-informed practice.

Please contact emergency services in your area or call a national crisis hotline. SARCIN is not a crisis center but we can help you access those who are.


Offer quiet support. Do not pressure them to report or relive the event. Let them know SARCIN is available if and when they want to reach out.

Not at this time. We are a volunteer-run effort and do not request or accept public funding.

For safety, privacy and operational security, we maintain a low digital footprint. Survivor trust is our top priority.

While our mission centers on protecting women, we welcome reports and support all survivors regardless of gender identity.

Yes. If something feels wrong or confusing, that is enough reason to reach out. You do not have to define your experience before seeking support.

Absolutely. You can speak with an advocate or send us a message before deciding to submit any details.

Yes. We are international and assist survivors across countries and languages. We match each situation with trusted local partners whenever possible.
